Matthew Owen of Little Rock, AR!
The competition was fierce, and the deliberations were anything but easy. Ultimately, the judges felt that Owen’s design exemplified the creativity, elegance and classic appeal they were hoping to find.
Thank you to EVERYBODY who entered. We were truly blown away by the enormous amount of talent we encountered. We hope you had fun!
After poring over each of your wonderful, thoughtful, and creative designs, Simon & Schuster and the Bradbury estate have finally selected a winner! Thanks to everyone who submitted for making our task such a difficult one.
The winning entry will be unveiled at the American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Conference in the S&S booth during the opening evening reception on Friday, 1/25. We’re thrilled that the ALA is partnering with us to announce the winner and celebrate Fahrenheit 451 throughout the year.
We’ll be sure to post the winning image here on this Tumblr, as well as on our Facebook page shortly after the in-person unveiling. So watch this space!
